Awakening refereert aan mijn zoektocht naar het innerlijk waarbij ik steeds meer tot de kern van 'voelen' kwam. De portretten zijn onwerkelijk maar hun ogen vertellen de kijker de emotie achter deze façade.

Awakening refers to my search for the inner self in which I came more and more to the core of 'feeling'. The portrets are almost artificial but their eyes show the viewer the emotions behind the façade.
